A day of pure elegance, luxury, and class with no detail missed, this was the day of Dominique & Mark!
An Auckland-based couple’s strong ties to the Matakana region played a big part in their decision to marry there. The location was unique, private and ticked all the boxes for the celebrations to unfold. Located just an hour north of Auckland, it was an easy transfer for family and friends to make the trip north to celebrate the very special day of these two.
Despite the weather not playing ball, in fact, to weather bomb effect, we all pressed ahead and were so pleased we did!
Details were everywhere to be seen from personalised number plates on the vehicles to the menu designed by celebrity chef and dear friend of the couple, Michael Dearth, Baduzzi Restaurant. Vodka Bumps and Caviar were served and the Polish song “Stolat” sang, a nod to Dominique’s Polish family heritage. The champagne flowed and the fun and love of these two shone brightly throughout the day.
The ceremony was set with abundant florals and a string quartet which played as the guests arrived and throughout the delicious canape’ and drinks service. Following this the guests moved into a decadently set marquee with dripping chandeliers, candlelit tables, and stunning decor, stationery, and florals.
Following the formalities, a separate bar and dance floor was set for the remainder of the evening and into the early morning hours. The bar & lounge featured a twist on the more traditional daytime setting as the guests moved into party mode accompanied by world-renowned DJ duo Sweetmix Kids.
A monogram, featured throughout the day, was projected in bright pink, the floral became vibrant and the cocktails flowed.
