At One Fine Day, we believe in making the process of wedding planning as easy as possible for our clients. We listened to your needs and provide these services under within our team. Wedding Planning, Styling + Design, Florals, Hire.

Ideally you would allow for 12 – 18 months however, we have also turned around weddings within 3 – 6 months. For stress levels we do suggest the earlier of the two.

Our services are available New Zealand wide and overseas. In New Zealand we frequently produce weddings in Queenstown, Waiheke Island, Bay of Islands & Hawkes Bay. More information on our overseas locations can be viewed here

One Fine Day was born in 2010 by Kath MacKenzie who has 20 years experience in the event industry. Over the years the team has grown to its current size of 11 staff who are handpicked, and experts in their field.

Yes, we certainly can. Our team can help with all aspects of destination management, travel, accomodation, activities, and transport to name a few.

We work with budgets that vary from client to client based on what services they require. We have worked with budgets of $50,000 up to $800,000.

We have a large team with four dedicated Wedding Planners. Each planner is limited to ten weddings per year.


No. Within in our packages we allow for the design and selection of your wedding florals. Budgets vary based on venue, requirements & scope and are quoted during the design process.

Budgets vary based on requirements and we have worked with floral budgets of $2500 – $300,000. We have a minimum spend of $1500.

In New Zealand we are lucky to have many independent growers that we purchase from as well as our commercial markets. Unfortunately, Queenstown does not have a commercial flower market and therefore, most of our product in freighted to us.


Delivery in central Queenstown and Wanaka locations is $150 + GST each way. $300 in total. If your location is outside of these areas we will quote accordingly.

We have a 24 hour hire period on all our of furniture.

If an item is damaged during your event, you must notify us of this. A bond will be applied to your final invoice to cover any damages and will be refunded if the items are returned in good order.


Our web store is open 24 hours a day for your convenience.

We currently are only offering pay pal as a form of payment.

You can only download an e-course when payment has been processed. We encourage clients to save their courses in a safe place to avoid having to pay an additional fee .


Unfortunately with the uncertainly around travel due to COVID 19, we are currently not offering bookings outside of New Zealand.

When we re-open bookings we will be offering packages to The Pacific Islands, Bali, Thailand, The West Coast of the USA and Europe.

We partner with only the best in the business and have dedicated coordinators to produce your wedding in the destination of choice. We also offer a premium package which includes your dedicated planner in New Zealand to travel to the destination.
