As wedding planners & stylists, our team strives to bring creative, cutting edge, and elegant designs and methods to every event, a big part of our set-up is working with dreamy locations and venues.

Recently we were able to experience Queenstown’s newest boutique accommodation and event space, Kāmana Lakehouse.

The luxurious space boasts some of the best views in town. Perched high above Lake Wakatipu, this new location offers its guests a range of relaxation, activity, dining, and event hosting options.

Upon entry, you are immediately greeted by a modern and art-deco style lobby, lounge areas, and a stunning brass and marble bar. The interior aesthetic is beautiful and is a superb canvas to create your wedding or event. Kāmana describes its style as “design elements coming together to bridge the European mountain lodge look with contemporary Kiwi-inspired natural décor”.

This space offers a range of services to meet our bridal couple and party’s needs, with the option to stay, dine and host your special day all in one place.

Stay

Chic and comfortable featuring contemporary design, comfortable beds, plush furnishings and luxury amenities  –  Kāmana really have thought of their guests needs adding small but meaningful touches like modern technology ports suitable for the business traveler, and environmentally friendly NZ made products in all rooms. They offer 73 ensuite rooms with different sizes and locations – perfect for your bridal party to get ready on your big day, as well as sleeping your bridal party and/or guests.

Dine

Enjoy modern takes on Mediterranean cuisine complemented by panoramic views of Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu in the distance. Nest Kitchen & Bar offers breakfast and dinner, and an impressive cocktail menu for guests and visitors. A beautiful catering option for your big day too!

Event space

Kāmana is currently renovating a modern and architecturally stunning function room for all of your event needs. They can host up to 100 guests* with views of Lake Wakatipu and up to Cecil Peak, offering indoor and outdoor flow and perfectly complemented by in-house catering from Nest Kitchen & Bar. The build is set to be completed by June 2019.
