It’s that time of year again! The weather is warming up and the summer wedding season is upon us. We have so many beautiful events coming up, and can’t wait to share details on them all soon.

But we thought we’d take a moment to reflect and look back at one of our gorgeous weddings last summer.

Lucy and Chris married on a hot and sunny Waitangi weekend in Queenstown.

Friends from all over the globe travelled to join Lucy & Chris who held their ceremony at the gorgeous Thurlby Domain. The ruins made a perfect backdrop, adorned with wild floral accents to line the aisle.

The reception was held at Lucy’s grandfather’s private property where the One Fine Day floral team created a beautiful, textural, sprawling backdrop, with lush’s amount of eucalyptus and accents of white roses, stock and gypsophilia.

The tables were draped in a dark storm linen, and finished off with eucalyptus and wild floral garlands.

We loved working with Lucy, Chris and their families to create the beautiful organic design and a seamless, memorable event. Definitely one of our faves from over the summer months.

We can’t wait to show you what’s in store for this summer’s weddings!
